The North Course, designed by Tom Doak, opened in October 2023 and already has raving reviews. Both golf courses were ranked on the 2024 Golf Digest World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses, the South Course #40 and the North Course #36.

Te Arai Links is approximately 100 kilometres north of Auckland. The 90-minute drive from the CBD follows the main route north out of the city on State Highway 1. Out of the city, the road takes you through the small town of Warkworth and an area known as Dome Valley. Approximately 75km from Auckland, turn right onto Wayby Valley Road (signs for Tomarata, Whangaripo Valley, and Mangawhai). Take this road through the small settlement of Te Arai, and onto the coast and Te Arai Links.
