The Naseby Golf Club is a hidden gem tucked away in the historic gold-mining town of Naseby, within the scenic Maniototo region of Central Otago, New Zealand.
This charming 9-hole country course is located just two kilometres south of the town centre on the Ranfurly-Naseby Road. It offers golfers a serene yet challenging experience, characterised by tight, tree-lined fairways, clever doglegs, and magnificent backdrops of the Black Forest and the iconic Mount Ida range.
As a community-run facility, Naseby Golf Club maintains a very relaxed, welcoming environment.
There is no requirement to book ahead for casual play; instead, green fees are incredibly modest and paid via an honesty box system on-site. While the course is open to visitors all week, the official club day is held every Sunday.
