Established in 1976 the 18 hole 72 par course is situated on the lower Waitaki river plain approximately 12 km north of Oamaru. The course is mainly flat, fully irrigated with generous fairways and easily walked by the average golfer.
For men there are 3 separate tee options.
Blue Tees 6140m slope 126, NZGA CR 72.2 :
White Tees 5802m slope 123 CR 70.8
Yellow Tees 5228m slope 117 CR 67.7.
For women both the white and the yellow tees are rated:
White Tees 5802m slope 126, CR 76.8
Yellow Tees 5228m slope 117 CR 72.9.
Presently the club has approximately 200 members mainly from Oamaru and the surrounding district. Regular playing days are:
Tuesdays Women 9.30am report.
Wednesdays Men 12 noon report.
Saturdays Men & Women 12 noon report.
