Green Acres Country Club

January 15, 2015

The Greenacres golf course was designed and built by the late Mr Charlie Emerson in 1969, at West Plains. The 18 hole parkland course set on relatively flat land, only 10 minutes drive from the Invercargill city centre, offers arguably the best golfing facilities in Southland.

The course itself is a pleasure to play, with firm fairways all year round, a few well placed water hazards and well manicured greens.
The golf shop has an extensive range of equipment, with most major brands represented. Adjacent to the shop is the Classic Hit’s Driving Range, with 18 all weather bays giving you protection from the elements as you practice.

Visitors are welcome to play a casual round of golf or join in our club competition.
