Hanmer Springs Golf course is approximately 1.5 hours from Christchurch set in a scenic vista of breathtaking mountain scenery 385m above sea level.

Formed in 1911 the course has changed a lot in one hundred years, the original course was nine holes and occupied what is the present second nine, alterations in 1923 started moving toward the present layout of 18 holes.

If not for the challenging course then come and play for the crisp mountain air, wide open spaces and the freedom of crowds and city noise.
