The course is situated 18 km south of Timaru. The course is flat with good views to the alps and the sea. The fairways are wide and tree lined. A popular and well maintained course.
The Temuka Golf Club has provided the opportunity to play golf and enjoy the Club's facilities since 1907. There has been continuous development over the last 107 years or so from a 9 hole course to the fully irrigated 18 hole course that is played on today.
The Cairns Golf Course is designed to be a fun 18-hole golf course with strategy being a key objective whilst taking in some stunning views of both the McKenzie Basin and the Tekapo area.
Our Timaru Golf Club was established in 1894 in Cain’s Paddock, an open area between North Street and Hassall Street. Conflicting demands for the recreational use of the land resulted in the Club finding alternative ground at Highfield in 1904.
The Tinwald Golf Club is located in Tinwald, a suburb of Ashburton township, Mid Canterbury, New Zealand. The golf course was built in 1967 and is situated on reserve land adjacent to the Tinwald Domain.
The Waimate Golf course is a magnificently planted golf course with many ornamental trees and picturesque surroundings. Visitors welcome to play at anytime, including competition days.
