Golf Coaching Testimonial

"I recently completed a 3 day course with Kevin Smith and what a brilliant experience it was! All aspects of the game were covered and changes were introduced slowly and methodically so there wasn't too much information overload. Video analysis and a copy of Kevin's book were provided and are useful tools for referencing at home. Kevin is very professional and highly approachable and the lessons are relaxed with plenty of related golf stories. If you are looking to improve all aspects of your game then I would highly recommend this!" – Jason Silk

Ian has also written for major magazines Golf international, Today's Golfer and National Club Golfer as well as New Zealand's The Cut magazine.

Ian commentated for SKY on the Ryder Cup when coaching players

Ian is very flexible in his approach to teaching and has great experience of teaching with Juniors right through to Seniors that may have injuries and limitations. There is no one method coached, just a drawing on over 28 years of coaching at every level all around the World.

Ian has worked for many years on tour with systems like Trackman, Flightscope, Sam Lab and AMM 3D bio systems and is able to study and correctly interpret as well as communicate all this important data across to the golfer whether they be amateur or Professional.

Ian believes it is important to communicate at the level that the pupil will genuinely "understand" and actually teaches the player to become his or her own best coach by understand the what, the why, the how and finally the when!

He believes one great hour doing the "right" thing is better than 20 hours of effort on incorrect movements, and believes that correct knowledge and how it is conveyed is key.

Lynette Brooky/Godleman - Wellington

Lynette BrookyI am delighted to be back at Manor Park Golf Sanctuary where my Golf Academy is now based full time. Having played on the European, American and Australian Tours for nineteen years I have a wealth of knowledge to pass on and my aim is to help and work closely with Golfer's of every level.
In my time on Tour I have worked closely with some of the best teachers in The World and my philosophy is very much built upon working with the golfer that is in front of you and really understanding how to be flexible and get the best out of their ability, mobility and time investment whilst always working towards what is achievable.

Golfers play the game for a myriad of different reasons however enjoyment should be paramount and one hour spent doing the right thing is better than countless hours just ambling, so let me help give you some direction with your golf game.

I am available for all manner of lessons with Individual, group and playing lessons as well as course management and even injury prevention/rehabilitation working with limitations and injuries.

Finally I am here for anything from lessons, playing and even golf coaching trips abroad, or maybe you just want a coffee and a friendly chat about your Golf. It is after all your golf game and if you have a question for me then please do not be scared to ask.
