Masterton Golf Club

January 4, 2015

The Masterton Golf Club, founded in 1899, sits atop Lansdowne Hill – the highest point of the Masterton – has stunning views of the district from virtually every hole. Look left when standing on the first tee and you are presented with a panorama of the Tararuas, so spectacular in the winter when the range is cloaked in snow.

We are in the heart of the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail, less than 2 hours from Wellington and just over 2 hours to the Hawkes Bay.

Sir Bob Charles began crafting his sublime skills on the Masterton club’s rolling fairways about 60 years ago, and as patron he retains his connection with the club to this day.

Masterton Golf Club welcomes members and visitors to enjoy our challenging tree lined undulating course and to share our hospitality both on the course and in the bar / café. The onsite professional shop offers club and cart hire, lessons and has available a full range of golfing equipment and clothing.
